Was in town for a dance competition and wanted to get a quick bite without the wait. It was ridiculous that it took 20 minutes to get there, while walking thru some sketchy Baltimore streets and it was a bit difficult to find the place. But once we found it we walked in and seated ourselves. The place was small, cute and cozy, with typical pub fare and bar. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and my daughter had a cheeseburger with fries too. When our order came out it was missing the bacon but it was quickly brought out by the cook, which I thought was nice. Food was pretty good, came out quick and portions were generous. The staff was nice, attentive and gave good suggestions, including telling us how to get back to our hotel quicker and safely. No complaints!

Classic Baltimore Vibes at Peter's Pour House Peter's Pour House has been a neighborhood staple for over 40 years--a true local bar and grill where regulars gather. When I tried calling in a takeout order, I found out they don't take phone orders. A little inconvenient, but since it was the best option for us, I left my kiddo at the hotel and walked the block over. This wasn't our first visit, but it was my first time ordering carryout. I went with a grilled chicken sandwich, Maryland crab soup, and a turkey bacon club. * Grilled Chicken Sandwich - Probably on me, but I didn't realize it didn't come with mayo, lettuce, or tomato--just grilled chicken on a bun. The chicken itself was good, but it definitely needed some condiments. * Turkey Bacon Club - My husband split this with our two boys, and it was huge and well-made. * Maryland Crab Soup - Absolute flavor bomb with plenty of crab--no skimping here! The bartender was super apologetic about the no-phone-order policy, and the overall vibe was old-school Baltimore, which we loved. Next time, we'll definitely opt to dine in for the full experience!

Just a little bit down from the convention center this small spot is a favorite of many! A great place to catch a beer, a cocktail, some aps, or a meal... the space is small but the vibe is huge! This is a local pub type atmosphere with all kinds of personality. The server was great... they have N.A. beer selections as well, and the food was pretty good. I had a crab cake sandwich that I ate every bite of. It wasn't a skimpy meal either... the crab cake was as big as the bun and thick. It was loaded with crab and not just bread... the flavor was outstanding! It is a tight fit in here but was worth every penny!

I can't believe it took me eight years to come back here. A hidden gem in Baltimore - a bit off the beaten path, and easy to miss if you're not looking for it. A delightful bar in the middle of downtown Baltimore. This place felt like home with reasonable drinks, friendly staff, and excellent looking food that I'll try next time I'm in town. My next visit won't be in eight years.

Recommend having the lobster, crab, shrimp bisque. It's hearty savory and full of flavor. Ordered the chicken parmigiana sub and mushroom burger meals today. The fries are super hot, light, and crispy. The first bit of sub you get the butter toast on the bread with slightly over temp chicken. The flavor is good and complimented well with the sauce. The burger was very good and has a strong beef flavor. No condiments are really necessary to enjoy. The service is fast and made to order. This seems to be a good place to work during the day hours due to small crowding. There are two nearby garages for parking considering the Restaurant is in an alleyway. Please give this place a try

Catching up on Yelp reviews and I visited back in June. I visited DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia for a baseball stadiums trip with some buddies to knock those stadiums out of the park... Peter's Pour House is located just north of the Inner Harbor, and literally off the beaten path. It's definitely hidden down a brick road street with a few other bars/restaurants and this is what I think of when being in New England/East Coast. The three of us arrived around 8pm on Saturday night after the Orioles game. Peter's was very small and it was very crowded. Probably mostly tourists during the weekend, but locals during the week. The Orioles beat the Phillies, but we were lucky and a table opened up when we were standing the bar. Peter's Pour House has an awesome vibe as it's an old school pub with some TVs to watch the games and people could sit outside on the patio. We haven't had crabcakes yet, so we all ordered crabcakes. They did look a little small, but they packed a huge amount of flavor and had a ton of crab. The fries with old bay seasoning were hot/fresh and the cheese sauce on the side was delicious. Didn't know that was a thing in Baltimore. The food was good, but I would anticipate their other menu items being typical neighborhood bar food (solid, but not spectacular). Our server was friendly and did check in with us occasionally. It was packed so she was definitely busy. Prices weren't terrible as the crabcakes were about $25-$30 (expected), the fries with cheese sauce were about $5, and beers were about $5-$7. Overall, I was a fan of Peter's Pour House as it was cozy, solid food, and solid service. So walk a little bit further away from the Inner Harbor and check out Peter's Pour House!

We popped in here for a drink and a bite while walking around downtown. It's a cool spot with a casual vibe and friendly servers. We tried a couple of beers that were good and shared some yummy mozzarella sticks. They had several other menu items that sounded good that I'd definitely try when more hungry. My only complaint is that it felt hot inside to me, but I always run warm, so probably more of a me thing haha. Overall, it was a cool place!

As we walked up, it was a quiet alley. I was a little nervous. Once we walked in, the ladies working were so nice and friendly. It was pretty busy. 1 table was open inside and 2 seats at the bar. We sat at the bar. They took our order quickly and they two ladies worked very well together. The bar had a TV that showed the outside seating that we didn't see. We came through the other door. I ordered the BLT. It was really good. Lots of bacon. The fries had great seasoning and were crispy. My favorite. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich. It has big chunks of chicken. It was pretty good too. We got a side of coleslaw. It was creamy. My husband got a couple beers then tried the old fashion. He said it was really good. It was strong but he could taste all the fruit flavors in it. It was a fun place and everybody was very friendly.
